So, we went to the Audi (pronounced "Outtie" like the belly button) dealership really not having the foggiest idea what to drive. After finding out they didn't sell helicopters we opted to a car. We wanted something fast and saw a pair of 2007 RS4's. It was like the heavens opened up and said, "YOU NEED TO TEST DRIVE THIS CAR!!!!!". Actually that may have been the sales guy trying to make us buy it. Regardless we did...
Uh... 0-60 in a smidge over 4 seconds! I was thinking that I had made it to around 45-50 mph and look down and *WHAMMO* 85 mph. (Note: The speed limit was like.. 92)
Well, it drives great... Do I drive it great???? Not yet... My manual experiences were on my 95 Nissan Sentra that had the worst clutch in the history of man. So... it was a little shakey at times between gears. Or... a lot shakey... But once it was in a gear - Mr. RS4 would cruise along at ...the speed limit, like syrup on a pancake. Minus the whole G-Force thing!
You could easily turn this car into a Rice Rocket. However, there is no need! It had some nice rims. Another odd/cool feature was the gray rear view mirrors as opposed to the dark car. Give it a sharp appeal. You could be a high rollin' business guy or a crazy street racer duder.
Well, ask Joel about that one... Changed his perception on the car he wants. Just make sure before you go test drive this sucker you can handle the manual (at least somewhat).
I was too busy going fast to really care... But it was mad comfortable, had 6 different settings for the seat warmer, nice chrome accented interior (also has a nice carbon fiber version), and the engine has lots of red on it. Looks sweet - beautiful V8!!!
